How do I stop the Curl Color from transferring/bleeding?
Due to it's temporary and gel-creme nature, some transfer is to be expected, please note that more transfer is applicable to our more pigmented shades like Curl Color: Hot Red and not so much in colors like Curl Color: Rose Gold. More Curl Color used, the more vibrant it will be, the more transfer that may occur.
It is also good to note that using leave in conditioners or other products that could cause build-up in the hair while using this product could cause flakiness.
Can I Straighten/Flat iron my hair with Curl Color?
NO - the answer is NO, Curl Color is a gel - creme consistency and is best to be dried with heat in the sense of rollers, flexi rod sets, braid outs, twist outs, bantu knots, etc.
Does the color transfer?
Curl Color will last until you wash it out in the shower, it is NOT a dye, and will only last for about a week or so, depending on how you care and protect your hair via bonnet, satin/silk pillowcase, etc.
I have Type 1/Straight Hair, Can I use Curl Color?
Yes! - However, due to it's gel creme consistency, you may find the product heavy on your hair depending on the style you are using it for. The color on the hair will apply the same.
AMAZING color. Just a lot of transfer. I mixed hot red and copper and it made a beautiful color. My only issue is anytime I touch my hair or try to use water it’s MAJOR transfer of color.
Loved the color and ease of application. Only issue I had was it transferred easily once dried, so need to be careful with clothes and where your head lean against.
I received so many compliments on this color as it complimented my skin tone. My husband loves the color on me and it was super easy to put in an wash out. I love it!
This is my first time a product like this but I love it so much! I always get many compliments on the color.
As some to your twist out and be amazed!
It’s pretty much the color of my skin when rubbed in so if there is transfer, it’s not noticeable. Incredible value, and it’s perfect on even low porosity hair!
